Wellington: Lyon and Blair, 1880. Original Wrappers. pp. 30, The act compelled every person in the Colony, who had a property worth more than L500, to pay a tax in proportion to his possessions. Otago, of all the provinces, returned the most revenue. This copy belonged to W.H.S. Roberts, Otago historian, and has his signature on the wrapper. Rare in original yellow wrappers. Good. Item #7056
